You all probably know by now that our kids go to THE best school ever. This school has been teaching kids for 150 years and its value system is like no other.
This school also offers an inclusion model where children on the spectrum and children who struggle attention challenges are included right in the typical class and are given a separate educator just for their needs while the main teacher leads the typical learners with the mainstream lessons. No child is left behind, here. The teachers genuinely love these kids, I’ve witnessed it time and time again. And the children all look out for and take care of, each other as well. We are small but mighty. We are like a family here.
Sadly, Enrollment is down and it hits small schools a little harder than the rest. Especially when we have extra teachers for our special learners and 12:1 class sizes.
This year, the families have been asked to reach out to our own family and friends for some support.
We’ve never experienced such a loving place, and consider ourselves so lucky to have found it.
