Blake Matthew Brousseau
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Blake Brousseau, beloved husband, father, brother, artist, and friend. On March 23, @ 3 AM Blake left this world very unexpectedly. He died suddenly and stopped breathing due to complications in his system.
Blake was intelligent, creative, and energetic with a deep love for family, friends, and his dog Marleigh. I have been grieving Blake’s death for two weeks. He was my lifeline and I miss him. We were together for twenty years collaborated on art projects and cared for in so many ways, lovingly, every day. This loss is devastating for me and I miss him very much.
We are asking for donations to help me pay for the unexpected and costly memorial service and end-of-life arrangements including his Memorial, his sons coming from Maine to Joshua Tree to say their goodbyes and show respect for their father, and finally taking his ashes to Mount Hood in Oregon where he climbed and spent 12 years with his wolf-dog “Zoe.” He found happiness there.
Any little bit of help will go a long way to celebrate his life and handle the needed arrangements to put his affairs in order. His body of work done digitally need to be archived and placed so others will appreciate his art.
I am grateful for the outpouring of condolences I have received. Blake was loved and will live forever in our hearts.
A celebration of life service will be planned for May 20th in the Joshua Tree, CA area at the Copper Mountain Mesa Community Center-Fire Station.
