Blaklee's Blessings

Blaklee's Blessings is fundraising efforts for financial help for 6 year old boy, Blaklee and family. He needs a complete small bowel transplant and many other therapies which requires full time hands on nurse like care from his parents. Blaklee Tew was born with Hirschsprungs Disease and had lived with maintaining his health somewhat normally until January 2016 he had a brain aneurysm with 3 brain surgeries and miraculously has been recovering in therapy with stroke like affects on his body. He then had a several blood infections that sent his body into shock Aug 2016 and other complications that he also recovered from but the doctors met and decided that his quality of life would not be what it needed to be without an organ transplant. He has travelled to Nebraska twice for testing to find a match. We don't know how much is needed we don't know how many trips to doctors or years or days it will take to go through this life's journey. All help, support, and prayers are appreciated and considered a blessing. UAB and Nebraska both agreed that Blaklee will not be leaving the hospital. Blaklee has become Priority One on the Transplant list so everyone please stay in prayer for the donor and the families involved with the donor, they deserve more comfort in this process and our family will have great sympathy as we go in all of this process. We are in need of Fundraiser help to fund parent support system when this all occurs. We will take every day one at a time and Treasure every one we have til then.
