Quadriplegic Computer

Donation protected
My 12 year old, paralyzed son loves to play video games. I want to build a new computer for him to create game play videos for the public.

On Christmas Eve, 2006, my youngest son passed away due to SIDS at the age of 5 months old. About 7 months later, my ex-wife, took a trip with our kids to visit her grandparents in Arkansas. On their way back, they were involved in a major accident. The accident left my only remaining son paralyzed from the neck down and dependent on a ventilator.

Over the years, I've tried to provide him with as much independence as I can. He is able to use a computer via a chin-controlled joystick on his wheelchair. Last year, I developed him some software that allows him to play his X-Box himself. In the next couple of months, I plan on expanding it to allow him to play his Wii and PlayStation as well.

He loves watching walk-through videos of games on you-tube, and now he wants to start making them himself. Unfortunately, his 4 year old laptop just isn't up to the task.

I plan on constructing him a new computer with plenty of storage space, and ergonomically positioned for for him to record, edit, and upload his game play videos.

I try to do all that I can to keep this amazing little boy happy, but my financial resources are limited.

Any excess funds raised by this campaign will go into his personal savings account for future projects to help keep him happy.

Thank you for your time.
