Baby Bobby Burgess' Broken Bones

Donation protected

UPDATE:  First off.  I just wanted to thank everyone that has donated so far for their incredible generosity.  We've more than doubled the goal and also had a bed frame donated! Personally,  I'm really touched to see the response from Bobby's friends and acquaintances and especially moved by you random good samaritans out there.  More importantly,  Bobby and Chip are feeling very loved  by all the donations and well wishes.  Bobby finally underwent the procedures for his broken bones on Tuesday and If all goes well he should be home in a few days.  The funds raised will do a lot to alleviate the stress of the upcoming weeks and months.

For anyone still considering donating: you're generosity is more than welcomed and will be put to good use either for his care or as a supplement to medical/legal fees.

Thanks you all so much!!!  NEXT UPDATE when he gets home!

Our friend Bobby Burgess was hit by a car Sunday morning May 20th.  We don't know anything about the driver aside from the fact that they are from out of town and driving without a license.

His shoulder, his leg and a bone in his ear are broken. He also has severe brain trauma. He's been in the Intensive Care Unit for 6 days and was finally moved out of the ICU into a regular ward to await surgery which is tentatively set for Tuesday as long as the swelling in his head doesn't keep growing.  Hopefully, it won't take long after the surgery for him to return home.  Fortunately, Chip has been by his bedside every day leaving only to go to work and to grab him some Vegemite from home for when he can eat again.

Obviously it has been mentally, emotionally and physically draining on the both of them, so what we wanna do for Bobby and Chip is to raise some money to alieviate a little of thier financial concerns while Bobby recovers, especially over the next month or two.

At this point in time we are unsure of what the costs will be but aside from his computer that was seriously damaged in the accident the donated money will go to help out with rent, food, medical supplies, and a bed frame that will allow him to get in and out of bed easier.

If you happen to hear of or have a queen sized bed frame up for grabs that would be even better.

We will accept donations of any amount.
