Bi's of Colour History Project
Donation protected
I'm Jacq, the co-founder of the social and support group, Bi's of Colour. I wrote the Bi's of Colour History report, which is the first of its kind, and available to download for free: https://bisexualresearch.wordpress.com/2015/06/22/new-report-bis-of-colour/
Now I'm moving on to Stage 2 of the project: interviewing bi people of colour on their experiences that will cover the main themes from the report
Isolation
Violence
Homelessness
Racism
I am unemployed right now. I lost my job after experiencing a breakdown in 2014. Since then I have remained active by volunteering and through activism on mental health, bisexuality and race. However, I cannot afford to pay for travel and other expenses to interview the bisexuals of colour who live throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. I do not want the interviews to be only representative of those who live in London. I want to reach out and amplify the voices of those who are already marginalised.
Please make a donation to enable me to carry out this vital work. Everything counts!
