Team Bocuse d'Or Canada 2022

SUPPORT OUR NATIONAL CULINARY TEAM AND HELP TEAM CANADA WIN GOLD THIS JANUARY IN FRANCE!

 

In the world of food, the Bocuse d’Or is the equivalent to the Olympics, bringing the best chefs from around the globe to compete in what is described as the most prestigious and demanding cooking competition on earth. Canada's national culinary athletes always placed at the top since its inception, but never brought home the gold ... YET!

After winning silver at the Americas Selection, Team Canada is back in the Bocuse d’Or Training Centre in Montreal, perfecting their culinary dishes in advance to the upcoming Bocuse d’Or Finals. The two-day competition taking place in Lyon, France on January 22 and 23 2023, will have our national culinary athlete, Chef Samuel Sirois, battle 23 other teams from all over the world - including the United States, France, Japan, Denmark and Norway – for a chance to win Gold at the Grand Finale!

With the mandate to represent Canada on the international culinary scene, the Bocuse team is shining the spotlight on what makes Canadian cuisine a worthwhile trip for foodie-travelers from all over the world. The competition also provides our industry a unique chance to showcase techniques and food mastery while showcasing local flavours by incorporating them into the competition’s dishes that will be seen and tasted by the cream-of-the-crop on the world stage.

We are currently looking to gain financial support to help: 

- purchase plane tickets for the 10 team members to attend the competition in France

- stay in France for 3 weeks of preparation

- send equipment, including our beautiful handcrafted platter

- rend equipment locally such as Thermomix, Vitamix and many necessary kitchenware

- purchase food ingredients

AIDEZ L'ÉQUIPE CANADIENNE À RAMENER L'OR DE LA GRANDE FINALE DU BOCUSE D'OR EN JANVIER PROCHAIN !

Le Bocuse d’Or est souvent considéré comme les jeux olympiques de la cuisine en réunissant les meilleurs chefs à travers le monde. C'est tout simplement le concours le plus prestigieux et exigeant auquel notre pays a toujours participé depuis sa création. Il couronne les meilleurs chefs du monde, offrant la plus haute distinction pour un chefs et le plus grand honneur pour un pays. Bien que nous nous sommes toujours placé dans le haut du tableau, nous n'avons pas encore pu remporter la première place ... grâce à vous cela va changer !

 

Fièrement rentrée de la sélection amériques à Santiago avec la médaille d'argent, notre équipe menée par le chef Samuel Sirois est de retour dans le centre d'entrainement montréalais afin de préparer leurs meilleurs plats pour la grande finale internationale. Le concours aura lieu à Lyon en France, les 22 et 23 janvier 2023, réunissant les 24 plus grandes équipes du monde dont nous faisons partie. Aidez nous à voyager à l'autre bout du monde et à représenter fièrement notre pays en remportant l'OR !

L'équipe Bocuse d'Or Canada ne fait pas que participer au plus grand concours culinaire, elle représente toute notre industrie et fait rayonner notre gastronomie, nos producteurs et notre savoir-faire. C'est une chance unique de mettre notre pays de l'avant et de contribuer à l'essort de notre industrie agro-alimentaire.

Nous avons besoin de votre aide pour financer : 

- l'achat de 10 billets d'avion à destination de Lyon, France

- un hébergement pour nos 3 semaines de préparation sur place

- l'envoi de notre équipement, incluant notre magnifique plateau d'artisan

- la location de petit équipement tel que des Thermomix, Vitamix et autres appareils

- l'achat d'ingrédients nécessaires au concours
