Bodhi's Fighting Chance

Donation protected
On August 3rd, eight year old Bodhi was severely injured in an automobile accident.  Tragically his father, Gannon Rogers and the family dog, Kodi, were killed instantly.

Bodhi's bowel was perforated, his liver punctured, his left elbow broken, his right arm shattered & almost torn off, and he was bleeding internally when a good Samaritan found the wrecked car and contacted the police.  First responders did not expect Bodhi to survive the transport to the hospital.

After being medivaced out, and many hours of surgery, the surgeons were able to save Bodhi life. They did the best they could to save his right arm and it appears they were successful. His left arm was broken in three places and is in a cast; the right arm is in a sling.   Bodhi will have years of recovery.

As of August 13th, he no longer in critical condition.   He remains in stable condition at the hospital awaiting another surgery on his right arm. There will be more in the future.

Bodhi's mom loves him dearly & will do her best to care for him and his eleven year old sister, but she does not have the resources for this kind of care and rehabilitation. Bodhi will need round-the-clock care & his doctor will be 5 hours away,  in Oakland. She is now the solo parent of two children who have just lost their father. Bodhi needs your help.

These Go-Fund me funds are to be used only for Bodhi's medical and rehabilitative expenses that are NOT covered by insurance.
