Bodhi's Battle Against Burkitts Lymphoma

Early last week Bodhi was experiencing flu-like symptoms accompanied with a tremendous amount of pain in the stomach. After a couple of days of symptoms coming and going Shannon took him into Mammoth Pediatrics clinic to be seen, where they were then sent to the Mammoth ER. After a full day in the ER undergoing a spectrum of tests, a large, fist-sized mass was found in Bodhi’s abdomen. They were immediately sent to UCLA children’s hospital where he is now under the care of several teams of specialists. 

Bodhi has been diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma.  This is a fast-growing cancer that is rapidly fatal if left untreated.  He has already been through many torturous days of tests, blood draws, biopsies and surgery. Many many tests and unknowns are ahead for Bodhi. As of today (February 13th), He is having his port placed, the first round of chemo put into his spine as well as bone marrow and lumbar biopsies.
