Following the tragic and sudden death of our cousin, Bojan Kalezic, a lot of people have reached out and expressed interest in helping his family's in any way possible during this difficult time. We have created this page as place where you can do so.

Bojan was a true hero. Because of him and the healthy organs that were donated, 4 people have a second chance at life. He was truly a remarkable human being who will live in our hearts forever.

The family would also like to thank everyone for their generous donations, it is sincerely appreciated.

Below are some memories/stories/words that some people closest to Bojan wanted to share about him:

"May his soul rest in eternal peace and provide guidance for his family and all those who were lucky enough to know him. Because of him and the healthy organs that were donated, 4 others were able to wake up today in hopes for a better future. Nothing is promised in this cruel cruel world, but we need to hang on to any positives as much as we can. Life really is too short.

I will hold you in my heart until the end of time. Your blonde shaggy hair when we were little, the best basketball player to grace the Samara Apartments, and your kind friendship to me and our entire group since the day we arrived here from Europe-- we really were all we had.

This is one of the messages I saved from you:

"Saraaaa!! I'm doing better than I thought I would be. I'll call you to party once I'm available. Thanks for caring."

Hope you're rocking out in heaven. Missing you but feel you so close. ❤️"

"We all love and miss you so much Bojan, I wish we could have had more time together, even though most of it was always spent with you making fun of me. I never met my match until I met you, and you always found a way to outsmart me, and it was my favorite thing about you. I am nothing but lucky to have been able to grow up in your presence, and more importantly, to call you my cousin. All the girls loved you and your personality truly did light up a room. As painful as it is, I know you are in a better place, and don't worry about Igor Kalezić, we will take care of him :)"

"Rest in Peace Bojan. My heart is aching so badly, I can't believe you're gone. We were all so lucky to have grown up with you and have you in our lives <3 Gone too soon."

-Sanda Milovic

"My heart aches. Bojan will always be remembered in my heart as the cutest and sweetest shaggy haired blonde boy and I am SO lucky I got to spend my incredible childhood with him. We were all a huge Bosnian family that didn't grow up with money but with love from one another and that's all we needed. Here's an entry from my diary-

"Today we were playing truth or dare in the park and Bojan had to bear hug me.. I think he likes me. I love him, but please don't tell anyone that"

This is my favorite picture of us; I'm forever keeping you in my heart and in my mind because your light shines forever. Love you always. Rest in peace buddy "

-Ena Grabovica

"This tragedy is still a shock to my family and I. No words can describe how we feel... Bojan, you will be missed and always in our hearts!! Rest in peace cousin! "

-Maja Stojcic

"I still can't wrap my mind mind around it. So young and so bright, Bojan will always live on in our memories and hearts. We were more than friends and even cousins, we were like brothers. I always looked up to Bojan growing up together. I will forever cherish the laughs we shared and the times we fought. Words can't even describe how much we all miss you and love you. Rest in peace, brother."
