Boris’ ongoing treatment for serious injuries!
Donation protected
Poor Boris was found stuck in a drain on a very main road by passing paramedics, he had also been hit by a car whilst stuck, he had an open fracture of tib and fib in one back leg, and the other leg the hip was dislocated, he also had bleeding to the lungs and facial bruising.
He has so far been in our care (cat welfare Luton) for 4 weeks and in that time has wracked up vets bills for several surgeries of over a thousand pounds, which we have part fund raised for when we added him to an existing fundraiser, he is now recovering in a foster home on crate rest but has to return to the vets mid Feb to have more x rays to make sure his fractures have healed enough so the dislocated hip can be operated on. He will need to have a femoral head and neck excision to save the leg.
This is estimated to cost another £400-£500 for the surgery plus after care and hospitalisation/medicines.
