Box Truck for the Band! (and auxiliary)

Sean P Hotchkiss and Tracy York Scharn are organizing this fundraiser to benefit Tigard High Band Boosters.

Yikes!!! We need your HELP! Our 26 year old truck has had it! After years of loving care it finally gave up and has earned a well deserved rest. Although it drove like a puppy on an ice rink, it served us well for many years. Meanwhile our kids will be stranded and our other fundraising efforts will be severly hampered until we can replace it. We're raising money for a "new to us" truck and the costs to get it in shape for use.

The truck will be used to transport equipment to band, marching band, drumline and color guard competitions. We also use it frequently for our other fundraising efforts such as our semi-annual can & bottle drives, annual garage sale, and all school auction.

The students at Tigard High School in our award winning band, drumline, and color guard programs are very passionate about music and performance and we all know how important music and art can be for developing productive and happy citizens! Please help us keep these award winning programs going by helping us cover this unexpected cost.

More information about Tigard High Band Boosters: We are a certified 501(c)3 non-profit. Check with your tax professional, your donation may be tax deductible! We are 100% volunteer run. All of the funds we raise go towards programs costs. We provide financial, volunteer, and moral support to the Tigard High School Student Band Classes, Marching Ensemble, Drumline, Cadet Drumline, and Colorguard. We fill the gaps that the school and our school district can not currently fill.

Don't worry, if we exceed our goal we'll use the funds for instrument & equipment repairs, music, copyright fees, etc... it'll still go to help the kids!
