Concordia Galápagos Project

Donation protected
The Galápagos Islands are a major spot for biological research and conservation biology due to the immense amount of biodiversity as well as history (many of Darwins theories were derived there). The Concordia Galápagos Project (CGP) has undergraduate biology students take a trip to these amazing islands in hopes of understanding the incredible ecosystems that lie there Additionally they will try establishing a satellite school. This will allow future biology students to continue the research that will help drive science forward. At the same time, the students will do conservation work to aid in the sustainment of these historic and fascinating sites.

I am planning on going to the Galápagos Islands this year for the CGP to learn about their culture, about the history and most of about the biodiversity of land and marine ecosystems. During the month long trip I will be staying in the highlands on a reserve to aid in conservation biology work. Upon our return it is our goal to establishment a way for future biology students to travel there as an internship class.
I plan to donate my free time to improve the trip for future students.
I am working and savings my own funds for this trip but cannot cover the total costs and therefore I am doing fund raising as well. The extra money that I receive, not going to the trip, will go to developing a research center for future biologists so they can make the trip and continue to study and enjoy the islands as much as I will.
