Update (5/15) - on Sunday the Brentwood NPL 01 Soccer team punched their tickets to the 2016 National Championship! In addition, the team advanced to the quarter-finals of the NY State Cup by winning in a penalty kick shootout.
Their trip to the National Premier Leagues (NPL) Division finals would not be possible without the help and generosity you have shown. Together with your help and support we will make sure every boys is given the opportunity to be a prt of this life molding experience.
The 2016 NPL Finals will be held July 14-18 at Aurora Sports Park in Aurora, Colorado. One of the most prestigious championships in the country, the NPL Finals is the targeted destination for all NPL teams throughout the year-long, league-based competition each season. Teams play several group games before advancing to knock-out rounds to determine the NPL National Champion in every age group.
Last year we were fortunate enough to raise enough money to help the boys make the trip to the NPL Finals in Westfield, Indiana. It was a tremendous experience for the boys who will have life long memories. The team played very well making it all the way to the semi-finals before losing in a penalty kick shootout.
Brentwood NPL 01 has a great group of talented and dedicated young players. As a premier level soccer team we strive to bring out the best in one another on and off the field. However, we are once again faced with the burden of raising funds to help ensure all of the boys can make the trip this year. In addition, we are looking to compete in many out of state tournaments throughout the year. This can become very costly for the players as travel, lodging and registration fees add up. Our goal is for ALL the boys to be able to participate in these events without the worry of high costs and expenses.
