Send ME to New Zealand & Australia

For the summer of 2015 (May30th-July 1st) I would like to travel to Australia and New Zealand to study abroad. The program is host by the communication college at Eastern Illinois University. During this educational excursion, I will be studying the differences in how a primitive native culture and a modern culture co-exist. As a senior at EIU, I will be developing an independent study as well. The focus of my study is to collect data on the possible effect bureaucracy has on family structures within different cultures.

As a briefing about myself, I am currently a senior at Eastern Illinois University. I am majoring in communications with a concentration in public relations and broadcast media. I am also minoring in advertising. I will be receiving a Bachelors of Arts in December of 2015! I have hopes and determination in gaining a position within creative marketing or media productions.

I am reaching out to YOU because I need your help to be a participant in the program. To be a participant in the program is important to me because I find a great value in getting a chance to experience a new and unique educational opportunity. The program will involve me studying and exploring cultures within 13 cities with 10 of my classmates. During the program, I will be collecting and documenting valuable information for my independent study. As a completion of the study, I will receive six credit hours towards my education, which gets me closer to graduation.

The estimated cost of the program is $10 thousand. This program fee includes tuition cost, room and board, meals, activity fees and traveling expenses.
