Brogan Adoption

We are only a few months away from bringing home our two children from Colombia through international adoption. We have completed our home study, been approved through an agency, and applied for immigration. This fundraiser is to cover the last $14,000.00 of our approximately $40,000.00 in adoption expenses. This will cover attorney fees, agency fees, document processing, and travel as well as miscellaneous items like passports for the whole family and visas for our kids.

We are currently a family of four counting down to the days when we are a family of six. I am a middle school teacher and my husband is a computer programmer. We live in Birmingham, Alabama. Our two biological children are 10 and 6 years old, a girl and boy. The children we are adopting are about to turn 4 and 5 years old, also a girl and a boy. They have been institutionalized since they were infants. Our Colombian boy has many challenges ahead of him due to cognitive, physical, and speech delays. But we have an amazing support system of friends and professionals ready to help us meet those challenges, and we are so thankful.
