BrokenFM and KUPV-LP fundraiser

BrokenFM and KUPV-LP were wiped off the air during the Tubbs firestorm in October. Our efforts to rebuild have been slow for a few reasons. One is the towersite needs to be rebuilt and the tower owner is making needed improvements to the site so it will take a while for us to get back there.



The other is funding. Giving has been slow of late and we need to generate some funds to allow us to purchase replacement equipment to allow us to get back on the air. Here is where you come in! All funds donated will be used to get us back on the air as soon as possible! here is what is needed:

For KUPV-LP:
$1,500 for KUPV transmitter
$2,000 for KUPV stereo generator / processor
$200 for replacement Barix exstreamer for KUPV

For BrokenFM
$1,500 for 103.1 transmitter
$1,500 for 89.5 transmitter
$2,000 for the 103.1 link receiver

For Both:
$5,000 for 103.1, 100.5, 89.5 combiner (this allows all three stations to share one antenna, thus cutting down on tower costs)
$1,000 for Tower climber to replace feedline to antenna
$400 for replacement link replacement antenna


For our christian TV station:
$3,500 for replacement exciter for Sister Christian TV over the air transmitter: KUKR-LD.  I have replacement transmitter.

And the rest for antenna wire and unexpected costs.
