Broussard Louisiana Flood

My name is Thelmalyn and i am the daughter of Bud & Evon. On August 14th, 2016 my parents house of 27 years was flooded. Unfortunately along with many others, they did not have flood insurance. They are having to replace everything themselves. FEMA is giving out assistance, but its considered a loan and it will have to be paid back.  This will be a long and costly road ahead of them and i want to try and ease some of the stress due to the upcoming expenses. As of right now, my mom is unable to return to work due to the flood and my dad is retired with disability. So their funds are already limited. Right now they are sleeping at a neighbors house, but it is one of my goals to get them their own bed to sleep in, in their home. Along with being able to replace the sheetrock, appliances and other household items. If you find it in your heart to give, we would greatly appreciate it! Thank you and God Bless.
