A LITTLE ABOUT MR BRUCE
Our British Bulldog who's fondly known as Mr Bruce who was 3yrs old came into our lives as a pup when we really needed him most.
Mr Bruce was known at the Failsworth Animal Trust as Mr Bruce O'Neill D.O.B is 01/08/2014
if anyone would want to verify this.
His vet was Franc & was also known by James, Stephen and Jane. And all the lovely reception staff who greet him when he visited them.
He fought back from major surgery twice for Cystinuria which is a rare genetic condition that did not allow him to absorb certain amino acids and he created life threatening stones on two occasions.
Sadly he went on to be diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer which does not have a name as yet which we are currently trying to have changed so It can be named after Mr Bruce in some way.
He fell asleep in our arms 33 days after diagnosis on
20th January 2018 at 11.12pm, He was 3 yrs old.
We miss you big boy so very much it's painful Run free over the bridge & play hard
We decided he couldn't leave without reason and we started up a charity in his name so a legacy was left behind by our big boy Mr Bruce so we named it
Mr Bruce's Rainbow Legacy
