Bruce Reiner: Brain Tumor Fund

Bruce had an accident last month and bumped his head,  he was knocked unconcious.  After getting xrays the doctors discovered a tumor in his head next to his brain and behind his eye socket . The tumor is growing and starting to impair his vision as it needs to be extracted asap.  The silver lining is that the accident afforded him an advance heads up to his illness and he is going to have surgery at the end of the month, the bad news is that Bruce's insurance will cover less than 50% of the cost and it is going to be expensive.  The treatment will consist of cutting into and removing the scull to remove tumor, chemo-therapy and 6-12 months recovery time (I am over-simplifying the details).  

These funds will help cover the remaining 50-60% cost of surgery that will have a total price tag of over $100,000.00.  Also funds will help to take care of Bruce's monthly living expenses and possible home care nurse while being out of work during the recovery period.  Funds are needed immediately!

On a personal note I want everyone to understand that I had to beg, plead and fight with Bruce for permission to do a gofundme page.  That in itself is ironic because he is the first to help others when they are in need.  Bruce is one of the most generous, giving, thoughtful and compassionate persons I have ever known.  Lets get this done so Bruce will have one less thing to worry about during this time.
