Bryan Johnson

Bryan Johnson is part of our team here at Healthy Building Science (HBS). He's also a veteran, a father and a grandfather 14 times over. Bryan has a fantastic attitude. He’s always ready to help others and finds humor even through tough times, but this is no joke. He and his wife Cindi lost everything in the fires that swept through the North Bay last week. HBS has set up a GoFundMe account to help raise money for Bryan and his family to rebuild their lives.

Bryan feels uncomfortable asking for help, but we know that people want to help and his family could use the support right now.

Bryan says, "It is so surreal and I guess we are still in shock over losing everything. We are alive and safe and so many lost their lives it is heartbreaking. Santa Rosa, Sonoma and Napa counties looks like pictures I have seen from WW-2...devastation everywhere."

This video shows his house burning and what remains - just the foundations. Bryan and Cindi have a few changes of clothes, their wedding rings and their two cats, but all else is gone. Cindi's mom's china set, silverware, all family photos, furniture and more. Bryan had an original set of Beatle albums and paraphenalia, which they hoped one day would help with retirement. It’s all gone.
