A Helping Hand

Jacob represents 1 in 6 boys that are sexually abused by the time they are eighteen. Their lives have been fundamentally changed forever. The average age of the first sexual abuse is five years old. These victims are in your schools, churches, Boy Scouts, circle of friends, and yes, some are family members.  The sexual abuse of boys happens in every socioeconomic level, every religion, every race, every region of this country.  This is the most under reported crime against males. The alcohol, drug, divorce and suicide rate are up to ten times higher than the national averages for males that were sexually abused. However, there is hope. But we must act now. We must recognize, confront, and treat this unthinkable crime. They do not have a voice. We must give them one. I will be that voice until they are ready.  For you see I am not just an advocate, I am also a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. It is my deep passion to prevent this from happening to others and to let adult victims know that they can heal.


Your generous gift will be used to further the work needed to train community organizations, parents, and educational institutions about sexual abuse of boys. Further, on behalf of you, I will advocate for victims everywhere.  While I have trained others at the local, state, national, and international level, more work is urgently needed, and you can help!  Your support will fund a web-based resource for victims, as well as their friends and family.  100% of the funds raised will be used for services, transportation costs, and printed materials.
