BSU Allure Models Fashion Show

Hello, we are Stevenson University’s Black Student Union Allure Model Team. Our modeling team is a subdivision of Stevenson University’s Black Student Union, one of the largest organizations on campus. The goal of the Black Student Union is to promote racial and ethnic understanding on campus and foster cultural awareness for all students through discussions, presentations, and community service projects. 
       
The Allure Modeling Team’s mission is to help participants build confidence, and display individuality through the art form of fashion. In order to showcase our abilities every spring, we host one of the most popular traditions on campus, our annual fashion show. This fashion show is scheduled to occur on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. on Stevenson University’s Campus.

In order for this show to be a success, we rely heavily on dues paid by members as well as fundraisers.  This past academic year, like many corporations and community based organizations, our amount of funding and budgeting has declined and we are in need of more donations in order to maintain the level of quality we want to provide to our audience. These funds are solely used to support local designers, students, and artists so they can accomplish their aspirations and expand our impact on Stevenson University’s campus.  The attendees of our show come from all over the D.C. Metropolitan and Baltimore regions to show their support.
