Building Tiny Home for Veteran
Donation protected
Santa Clarita Valley International Charter School learners are deeply immersed into project-based learning. The 4th and 5th graders at SCVi have been working on a Tiny House Hunters Project. Their task was to complete a safe, durable, sustainable , and appealing home in any area of the world considering landforms and natural disasters. Through this planning process they created blueprints, supply lists, budgets, and scale models of their tiny homes.
As a step further, our learners will be taking on the task of building a real tiny home for a veteran in need. This process will not only extend their learning, but provide our young kids with the experience that comes with giving back.
We will need several supplies including hardware, tools, and a trailer. Our school, families, and learners would be so grateful to recieve these funds, and help a veteran who deserves a tiny home built with love!
