Bunny Boo

Bunny Boo and her two siblings were put in a box and dumped in someone's yard.  Our rescue was contacted and we took them in.  One look at the kittens and we knew  Bunny was dying.  We rushed her to a 24 hour hospital close by.  The doctor told us that her temperature was extremely low,  she was hypoglycemic and severely dehydrated.  All very serious, especially to a tiny kitten. The hospital told us they would try to save her.

Our rescue believes that every animal deserves a chance.  If there is a way to save them, we take it.   Through no fault of her own, she was dumped in a box and dropped in someone's yard.  She deserved a chance and we were going to give it to her.

In just a matter of hours, she was better.  She survived the night and has continued to improve.  One of our rescue representatives visited her Easter Sunday (inspiration for her name!) and she was doing quite well.  She was so hungry she kept biting her finger!!  When our rep mentioned to the hospital staff that she might be hungry,  everyone said in unison that she is always hungry!

When all of this happened, we were in San Juan Capistrano at an event.  This was truly a life or death situation for this girl.  As such, we felt she required a 24 hour critical care hospital.  Fortunately for us, the VMSG 24 hour hospital was 5 minutes away!  As many of you are aware, 24 hour specialty hospitals are not inexpensive,  but how do you put a price on a sweet kitten's life?

Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.  Without your support, we couldn't do what we do.
