Many of you know that just a few months ago, we were contacted about being a permanent resource for our nieces. It has been a wild ride, for sure, and now that things are moving along at a rapid pace, we need your help!
Just the other day we learned that we will have the opportunity to bring our girls home as soon as July! This is earlier than anticipated, and while we are very excited, it also means we have a lot to do in a short period of time!
The truth is that a bit of financial support would be a tremendous help for us as we prepare for our surprise adoption. With humility and a thankful heart, we would love some help from our friends, family and community members to help lessen the burden brought on by the most immediate expenses related to the girls coming home.
In addition to clothes, beds, and carseats, there are a few other major expenses we are looking at in the very near future. We will have some travel expenses- we are not sure at this point how much of those costs will be covered by Idaho. They are working to get at least a portion of the trip covered for us, but the reality is that ultimately, we are responsible for making this trip happen.
The other major expense we are looking at is daycare- we had anticipated the girls coming late this summer/early this fall, and had begun preparing for that expense. However, since the timeline shifted up so drastically, we really do need your help!
Thank you so much for all of the love, encouragement, prayers, and support. We could not do this without a mighty village behind us. We love you guys, and we cannot wait for you to meet our sweet girls!
