Buster's Cancer Treatment

Buster is our little tabby from the street. He moved in with us permanently over a year ago when he was injured and we found out he was FIV+. Not only has he moved into our home, but into our hearts.

A few weeks ago he was diagnosed with lymphoma in his abdomen. This is a highly treatable cancer in cats, and because he is young (4 years old), the doctors believe he has a good fighting chance.

I am currently unemployed, but we want to give Buster the chance to keep on "buzzing." His nickname is "B", short for Buster, but has morphed into "Bumble Bee" because he has stripes and likes to buzz around the house. He has assured us that he does not want to leave us just yet, and that he still has quite a bit of buzz left in him.

Chemo treatments

This does not include surgery, which the doctors feel is highly unlikely down the road.

We were inspired by Marmalade (from the fantastic internet duo Cole & Marmalade) to pursue treatment for Buster. Marmalade is also FIV+ and the same age as Buster. With chemo treatments, he kicked cancer's butt and has been cancer free for 2 years! He has given us hope for our little Buster. With your donation, we can make that hope a reality! Thank you!
