Cynthia Williams was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2009. She underwent surgery in June and November of 2015 and followed up with treatments. (Click here to view Cynthia's Story )
She was in remission for approximately a year and a half. In March the cancer returned. In exploring all options Cynthia applied to receive treatment with the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Zion Illinois and was accepted.
After going for her initial consultation, the Cancer Treatment Center has scheduled her to undergo surgery on Monday, May 22, 2017. Cynthia will be turning 65 in June so she starts receiving Medicare effective May 1, 2017, which doesn’t allow her to receive funding from the Cancer Treatment Center for transportation and lodging for herself and her caregiver. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE AS SURGERY IS SCHEDULED AND ARRANGEMENTS HAVE TO BE MADE. She will also need follow up treatment post-op. Therefore this GoFundMe account is to assist Cynthia with the finances she will need for her cancer treatment.
Please pray for Cynthia and her family during this challenging time.
Luke 3:10-11 (NIV)
10 “What should we do then?” the crowd asked.
11 John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”
Kind regards,
Sister’s in Christ
