Buy a giant umbrella for Vulcan
Tax deductible
It won't stop raining in Alabama. I'm no James Spann, but by my estimation, we've had somewhere around 25,200 inches of rain since the beginning of December.
It's cold. It's wet. And it's miserable outside.
Lucky for us, we can hide indoors. But there's one Birminghamian who can't. And his name is Vulcan.
Vulcan, the Roman god of fire and forge and the perpetual mooner of Homewood, has no shelter. He is forced to stand out in the elements with his right arm extended toward the heavens, soaking up every drop of rain that comes his way.
But we can change that.
With your help, we can purchase a giant umbrella I found on Amazon and duct tape it to Vulcan's hand. And when I say, "with your help," I mean financially and physically, because I'm not climbing up Vulcan's arm.
But seriously, every penny of this GoFundMe will go towards feeding the hungry in Alabama via the Community Foodbank of Central Alabama. The umbrella was only $23 and I already bought it off Amazon.
