Buy A Brick For Oliver

Oliver is 16 and has chronic lung disease. He spent the first two years of his life in hospital. He has endured many life-threatening battles and a lifetime of hospital admissions but always has a smile on his face.

He lives at home with his parents, brothers and sisters.
Unfortunately last year Oliver had a deterioration in his health and is now dependent on ventilation and oxygen to stay alive.
As a family, we are now facing huge difficulties as our home is not adapted for Oliver, his wheelchair and equipment.  He is in an upstairs bedroom which he often has to be carried up to and he shares his room with siblings.  He also needs a ground floor wetroom to meet his personal care needs as he is totally dependent. This means we are now going to have to move house.
Unfortunately, as his 24hour carers,  we do not have the money to buy a suitable, adapted property to give Oliver the best quality of life we can.  If we can get a suitable property then we can have carers for Oliver as currently we (his parents) are providing 24 hour care for him without any support.

We understand that everyone has issues in their lives that they have to deal with and not everyone can afford to give away money so we thought it would be a great idea for everyone to 'BUY A BRICK FOR OLIVER ' by donating as little as £1 and passing this on to all your family and friends who can hopefully do the same. Let's see how far and wide our 'Bricks' come from and see if we can make an enormous positive change to Oliver's life and the life of his family.

As well as his ventilation needs,  Oliver also has severe learning difficulties and no speech or formal communication but if he could he would thank you for taking the time to read this and of course for your kindness.
