Rebel Ventures is a collective of high school students from the Philadelphia area who are making a huge impact in their city. What started out as an effort to bring affordable, healthy food options to Philly-area students has turned into a truly unique and inspiring community of young people who are entrepreneurial, extremely creative, and deeply dedicated to improving student’s lives, one meal at a time.
A few years ago, the Rebel crew had the idea to make a youth-created school food, something that had never been done before. In 2017, “Rebel Crumbles” were born, and more than a million have been served to kids throughout Philadelphia. Their next dream is to create the Rebel Market, Philadelphia’s first ever youth-powered corner store. They want it to be a place filled with healthy, affordable food options for Philly’s youth.
