In Aid of Cameroon

Kamila Kobiera, RippleZoo co-founder, visited Cameroon in January 2018 to assess how a volunteer team could best help to improve the conditions for people living in one of the poorest and disadvantaged areas of Africa.
The November 2018 trip will focus on one village in the West part of Cameroon, Batoufam. The aim is to complete 6 primary projects during the trip, supported by an on the ground local team. The travelling team will include doctors and nurses to provide much needed medical care. The provision of a water supply to a local hospital will allow the construction of toilets and showers. Further construction projects will be undertaken in an orphanage and primary school. A container of supplies will leave Ireland in advance.

RippleZoo is a Not-For-Profit trust. We are not a Charity because we support Human Rights issues which is a bar to being a Charity in Ireland. All overheads and administration costs are paid for by private donations. All funds raised for the Cameroon trip are used exclusively to fund the project work costs. A financial report detailing all income and expenditure will be available on www.ripplezoo.com in December 2018, which will be signed off by the Trustees.
