Hello, everybody. My name is Evan Morris, and I have been in the coffee industry for 9 years. I got my start in coffee working at the local Starbucksl in Hollister. I have spent the past 6 years working in the specialty coffee industry at Vertigo Coffee Roasters as a barista and most recently heading up most of our training and coffee education. My goal has always been to have my own business, but I never knew that I would want to open a specialty coffee shop until I began working in the industry. Since I have been introduced to the industry I never looked back and I have taken a deliberate approach in mastering my craft and sharing it with my coworkers, family, friends, and more importantly my customers. I want to provide this service and share my passion to a growing city where I grew up and where I currently live. I believe that the city of Hollister California could really use a specialty coffee shop and I want to be the individual to provide this for my city. My multi-roaster café will be serving primarily Cat & Cloud Coffee and Vertigo Coffee in hopes to spread the word about these amazing companies and give people the best coffee around. These two companies are very important to me and share the same vision that I do. I have been saving up personal funds to venture out on my own, but I still need help. This is why I am calling out to all those who know me or may not know me, yet. It would mean an immeasurable amount to me to receive help from you all. My goal is to raise $30,000.00 because this would ensure that I have a better chance of establishing a location and begin to hit the ground running. I hope to be serving coffee either mobile or in a strofront open by early 2018, so that is why I chose now to begin this gofundme. I decided to start the gofundme initially, because I do not want to let this opportunity pass me up. I have done all of my planning, financials, training manuals, and everything in between, it is now time to take the next step forward, so please help me take this next step- it's a big one.
