Caleb Freeman Medical Fund

Donation protected
As a 16-year-old, Caleb Freeman was involved in a terrible automobile accident on his way to an Oklahoma University men’s basketball game on December 19, 2017. He was hit directly on his side of the vehicle by a semi-truck carrying 75,000 pounds. He was not expected to live and a fatality team was called to the accident scene. Given less than a 10% change of survival Caleb was in critical condition in the ICU at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City for four weeks. On January 15, 2018, Caleb was transferred via medical flight to Craig Hospital, a speciality rehabilitation hospital in Englewood, Colorado. After eight long weeks, Caleb began coming out of his coma and continued to make progress at Craig for several months. In the middle of May, Caleb was transferred to QLI, another rehabilitation facility that focuses on regaining independence and quality living. Caleb progressed very well there. Caleb left QLI at the end of July and went to Boise, Idaho where he had his his left ear completely reconstructed, which was severely lacerated in the accident. Caleb returned home in the fall of 2019 and was miraculously able to complete his junior year in high school. Caleb continues to be in weekly therapy. He graduated from Newcastle High School in May 2020, and is currently in his second year at Rose State College. Caleb’s entire journey is a miracle and God has been working mightily every step of the way. Caleb is the son of Jeremy and Emily Freeman. Jeremy is the Pastor at First Baptist Church in Newcastle. The Freemans desire your prayers more than anything, and are so grateful for all the people God continues to bring in their path. You can follow daily updates @prayforcalebfreeman on Facebook. If you’d like to contribute to their expenses on this journey, you can do so by giving to Caleb’s medical fund through this Go Fund Me account. Thank you in advance for your support!
