Caleb's Army
Donation protected
Caleb Hammond is a 10 year old little boy who was diagnosed with Accute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on February 6th 2017. He has since spent many days in Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines. He has overcome so much already. Throwing his doctors curve balls at every turn. He has proven to be a very challenging case. It has taken Caleb, his doctors, and his family a lot of hard work to get him to the point where he is healthy enough for the tramsplant that will save his life. Caleb has already been through more than any child ever should, and through it all he has remained his happy optimistic self. Caleb still has a long road ahead of him. In a few short weeks Caleb will have to undergo a risky bone marrow transplant, and because Caleb has proven to be a difficult specialty case, he must have this transplant at a hospital in Nashville Tennessee. He will have to stay in Tennessee for roughly 100 days after transplant. As you can imagine living out of state for months on end is extremely financially straining. We are hoping to raise enough money for Caleb's Mom to be able to stay with him in Minnesota, and for his Step-Dad and siblings to be able to come and visit. I am hoping to ease some of the financial strain so the family can focus on Caleb and his recovery. Every little bit helps. If you can't donate, prayers and well wishes are always welcome! From the bottom of our hearts Thank you!
