THE JOURNEY TO DR. FISHER

My name is Caleb Fisher, a junior at Manvel High School. Recently, I was invited to attend a summer program at Johns Hopkins University, where I would have the opportunity to work with doctors, practice various clinical techniques, and learn about the development of different treatment plans. The training that I would recieve is similar to what top medical schools provide to their students.

Becoming a doctor and helping my community has always been a dream of mine.  In order to reach this goal, I have studied to maintain A and B Honor Roll, National Honor Society, President of Student Council, Junior Class Secretary, Head Student Athletic Traniner, and Debate Team Member. Attending The National Youth Leadership Forum: Advanced Medicine & Health Care would allow me to move further to  achieving my dream.

Although I have been nominated the last two years, the expense asscociated with the program has prevented me from taking this journey.  This year we are reaching out to members of my village for assistance. The total cost of the program, plus air fare and accommodations is around $4500.

And that is where you come in; I am asking for financial donations along with prayer, positive energy and words to see me along as I prepare for summer 2017. We have a deadline of May 15, 2017 to meet the financial obligation.  I am asking you to reach deep and give what you can to support me in my JOURNEY TO DR. FISHER.
