Mr. Camara's Guinea Africa
Donation protected
Djiba Camara understands that not everyone is given the chances that he has received. As a professional athlete, coach and now educator, he has never forgotten the needs of his home country, Guinea in West Africa.
Djiba has been grateful for all the individuals, parents and students from HD Stafford Middle School, the Langley School Foundation and Eagle Ridge Bible Fellowship that have donated goods to Guinea; successfully sending two shipping containters in 2011 and 2013 . Behind the scenes however, he has accrued mountains of personal debt in the process.
Since 2014 Djiba has been battling liver cancer but remains committed to helping his people. He recently sold his townhouse so he could buy a five tonne truck to hold all the donated supplies. Djiba is asking for help to raise the $25,000 needed for shipping & customs. He understands that this may be the last time for him to personally visit Guinea. Please help him fulfill his dream. Thank-you!
