Camp Fire Firefighter Disaster Fund
Tax deductible
Of all of the Firefighters in Butte County fighting the Camp Fire, there have been over 30 Firefighters who live in Butte who's homes have been effected, most of them losing their homes entirely. This fund is to help our Firefighters in Butte County and their families rebuild following the destruction of the Camp Fire.
The purpose of the Butte County Firefighter Benevolent Foundation is to provide financial assistance to the families of its members in case of death or disability or serious injury/illness; provide limited financial assistance to citizens of Butte County directly impacted by emergencies and/or “events”; provide financial support to established non-profit organizations (such as Burn Centers, Children Cancer Camps, etc.); and to provide limited financial support to community events that impact the membership. Members of the Foundation are all Butte Unit CAL FIRE personnel (including headquarters and shop employees) and all Butte County Fire Department Volunteer fire fighters.
