Campaign for Jade

Jade is an eleven year old. She is the daughter of Lindsey, who works for me at Caltex Apple Tree Creek. On Sunday 11th June 2017 she suffered a stroke. Her and her Mum are currently in Lady Cilento hospital in Brisbane. The rest of the family are back in Bundaberg, and struggling without them, I'm sure. Lindsey has 4 other children - the youngest two are under 5. Jade is going to need a lot of rehab and specalised treatment, I hope we can raise enough money to take the financial burden off her family through this tough time. Even just by sharing this you can raise awareness of childhood stroke. Stroke remains among the top 10 causes of death in children. Stroke happens in about 1 in 4,000 live births. The risk of stroke from birth through age 18 is almost 11 in 100,000 children per year. Strokes are slightly more common in children under age 2.
