Campaña Salvemos a Canela

Canela (Cinnamon) is the school dog at Colegio Concepción San Pedro.  Technically a stray, she has been a loving and calming presence on the campus her entire life and is well loved by all of the students, staff, and visitors who cross her path.  She is fed by the staff, and lives on the campus, greeting students as they come to school each day.  Canela was recently diagnosed with cancer and requires surgery to remove an open tumor on her leg.  The students here have started a campaign to raise money to pay for the surgery, and I was hoping that some of our US friends might have a few dollars to spare to contribute to their efforts.  The vet would like to do the surgery as soon as possible to prevent the cancer from spreading further, so the sooner we can raise funds, the better.  Anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated by Canela and her school family here in Chile.  All funds will go towards her veterinary care, currently estimated at $800.  If, by chance we are able to raise additional funds, they will go towards future medical needs and her day-to-day care expenses.  Muchas gracias por su ayuda.  (Thanks so much for your help.)
