Candace's Bionic Ankle
Donation protected
While teaching her step-daughter to ride a bike, Candace accidentally took a tumble and shattered her ankle. Two days in the hospital, surgery to place stabilizing pins in her leg, and a secondary surgery to place metal plates and screws have left her immobile and unable to work for nearly 2 months. She still has months of rehab ahead of her to regain full use of her foot.
Because Candace is a freelancer, she doesn't have medical insurance. As you can imagine, the medical bills from 2 hospital stays and 2 major surgeries are staggering. All donations will go directly to pay medical bills already accrued and future rehab services. Please consider donating whatever you can. Every penny counts and she's immensely grateful for anything you can do to help.
