Help an Indigenous warrior encourage peace, healing, health & wellness across the country one step at a time over the next four months.
Brad Firth, AKA Caribou Legs, an Indigenous ultra-marathon runner from the Gwich’in nation of Inuvik, N.W.T. is running across Canada to raise awareness and support for women living with or having survived violence, highlighting the issue of our missing and murdered Indigenous women.
His ultimate goal in heart is that all men, that everyone, will act with care, respect, and honor toward and for women.
He's been very successful meeting with people along the road and with public speaking engagements to explain his purpose(s) for this running event and to share stories of survival and hope. Brad's own remarkable story can be read in greater detail in the link below.
Brad runs 50 -75 km a day on the highways on his own, that means with no on-the-road support. Just Brad, his backpack and hand drum.
Help Brad accomplish his heart-felt desire to take part in helping us mend our communities and inform the general public of these very important issues.
Help support his basic needs on the road over the next four months. Every dollar is a blessing received in great gratitude for educating materials, road supplies, a good enough meal, and a safe place to sleep... Share and spare a buck or 5. It all adds up to success super fast!
DONATIONS accepted on this page require Visa, MasterCard or American Express. If you would like to donate via Email Transfer, please message us for the email address.
Get in touch too , if you'd like Brad to speak with your group on his way to the east coast.
