Chad C's Medical Help
Donation protected
This GoFundMe is being set up for Chad for medical needs now and as yet unknown procedures in the future. We want to thank everyone who has shown love, concern & support for Chad & our family this week, during his health emergency.
Long story short as a kid, Chad experienced a kidney issue when it was discovered he had a kink in his ureter tube that goes to the kidney. He had surgery, then a stent, & from age 13 to age 30 he has lived a healthy, active life. Four years ago, it was discovered that he was in stage 3 kidney disease, when double pneumonia & pink eye landed him in the ER & we learned there were kidney issues.
Over the course of this past week, he has undergone a handful of Dialysis treatments to adequate clean the blood in his kidneys. The near future still lands us at Mayo Clinic with still more testing and watching including a biopsy which will hope to guide our next direction.
Currently Chad is in stage 4; which leads us to unknown journeys ahead. The possibility of the kidney restoring itself. Potential for long term Dialysis Treatment and down the road, most likely Transplant. The staff on ICU & Joseph have been outstanding.
Chad has been a Photojournalist at TV6 for 11 years, and has enjoyed seeing the many adventures and journeys of those in SEMN. The stress of losing his Dad just months ago & now this health emergency causes him & our entire family anxiety ~ anyone who knows Chad, knows his nature is happy, fun-loving, positive & he has the heart to help others always. ALL this medical care comes at a price, it's Mayo -- with all the tests & nearing a week so far of hospitalization, added to the future procedures needed, there will be great need to reach out & ask his friends and family to help him in his time of need.
With the outpouring of support shown so far, we are hoping this GoFundMe gets out to ALL those that know & love him & pray that if you can help, you will feel led to....as well as sharing the heck out of this GoFundMe. In his 11 years so far being a photojournalist, he has met a lot of great people and made amazing connections.
THANK YOU, one and all! Bless you.
