Carly's Christmas Wish

Hello everyone!

My name is Carly Merritt and I am 19 years old. As a recent graduate of the Air force, I experienced first-hand what it was like to not be able to celebrate a holiday. My experience got me thinking about as hard as it was for me; others around me have it worse.  

I don’t want any child to feel the way I did when I couldn’t hang up the Christmas ornaments on the tree or open a present that brought the biggest smile to my face. I want to be able to bring happiness and joy to these children when they open their presents on Christmas morning.

I am doing this fundraiser to make the holidays more cheerful for the children that are less fortunate. By doing so, I need YOUR help.

In order to do this I need a couple things:

1. Share this with your family, friends, and people you know. (Help me to make this viral)

2. Donate - (Whether it’s a dollar or one hundred dollars)

3. Enjoy the butterflies in your stomach after you donate.

4. Follow to keep track of how much has been raised and what presents were bought for the kids.

Everyone has that one donation they do during the holidays, whether it’s buying a Starbucks for the person behind you in line or volunteering your time, everyone has a soft spot. So, this holiday season help me raise money and make a memorable holiday for these children. I hope to continue this fundraising for the children with the years to come.
