Cause Hanna Family FIRE Fund

Tracy and her two young daughters, Solstice (4) and Be (1), lost their home and all their possessions in the Thomas fire Monday night. This enormous loss comes less than four months after losing the love of her life and the father of her two beautiful girls to a battle with cancer. So many people donated generously to the girl's education through this Go Fund Me site, and Tracy and the girls are so amazed by and grateful for the generosity of this community.

They will need a lot of help getting back on their feet. During this Season of Giving we ask you to once again open up your hearts and your wallets, and make a contribution to go towards housing, clothing, toys, books, and rebuilding their lives. Last month, Cause lost his battle with a very rare and aggressive form of germ cell cancer. He put up the most courageous fight for nearly a year.  Along the way, he had the greatest support from his loving family of five sisters, his parents, his amazing extended family and friends, and most importantly, his beautiful wife Tracy, and daughters Solstice (4 years) and Be (10 months).

       Cause was an incredible human being, with an innate ability to sense one’s energy and create a feeling of comfort in the air. He made everyone feel valued and worthy. This precious quality allowed him to leave a very special place in all of our hearts, and we are heartbroken by the world’s loss of such a special and contributing human being.

       In his short four-year career at CSU Channel Islands, he engraved a legacy, which is to “Craft Something Amazing,” as he pioneered the creation of the Santa Rosa Island Research Station with grace and tenacity. His wife, Tracy, was an integral part of its success. She supported Cause in his endeavors by taking the whole family to live on the island and help him with this arduous responsibility.

      Due to Cause's extensive education costs and short career, little was established for his daughters' future education expenses. Now is our opportunity to help Cause and Tracy where they would want it most; to apply it towards their beautiful daughters. So, let’s Craft Something Amazing for Cause by supporting Tracy, Solstice, and Be in their challenge to heal from this tremendous loss. Your contributions will go directly to Tracy Hanna, and they will be applied to Solstice and Be's education and development.
