Celebration of life: Venus Kimei

Friends, it is with a heavy heart and sorrow we announce that our beloved Venus B. Kimei was called to glory today, February 28 2019. Venus lost her fight to cancer this morning in Washington DC, where she was visiting her children Victor Kileo (spouse Jennifer Kileo) and Nsia Kileo Kargbo (spouse Foday Kargbo).
Mama Kimei was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mengisen Kileo, and son Langa Kileo. Venus is survived by her children, Victor, Nsia, Rabia, Maurice, and Membi; and six grandchildren: Sabrina, Kayrine, Julian, Emma, Ivanka, and Kevin.
We are very thankful that mama was able to spend her final days with her children. Unfortunately, this also presents them with the task of taking mama home to Tanzania, where her body can finally be laid to rest.
We ask your financial support towards this goal. All donations will be sent directly to the family.
