Celebration of Omar Rivas Life

Dear readers,

Before all else, thank you for taking the time to read this. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our beloved Omar Rivas, our loving Father. Friends, family and all our loved ones, it was the night of June 10th 2018 that we lost our father in a fatal hit and run accident. As you may imagine our family is completely devastated and in distraught. Although we do not know what lies ahead, we know for sure that my father deserves an honorable final goodbye. Which is why I am here today...my brother and I are blessed with much emotional support, however we are asking for economic help as well. Our goal is to raise $22,000.00 to cover for his funeral costs and all that comes along with the process. Any bit will help, we thank you in advance for the prayers, love, support, and any donations.

It is my hope that this link will be shared so for those that never had the opportunity to meet my father here is a little bit about him.

Our father was an exemplary and God fearing man who taught my brother and I—and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him— the best values in life that we will forever keep with us. He taught us the word of God growing up, filling us with hope and love every step of the way. He dedicated his life to the Lord, always using his beautiful voice to worship him; repeatedly blessing his family and church congregation. Omar Rivas was more than just a father, he was a loving brother and husband. He gave everything he had to everyone around him, a selfless man with an immense heart. We thank you for reading, and again any bit helps. We appreciate all donations with a sorrow filled heart.

Antes que nada, gracias por tomarse el tiempo para leer esto. Con gran pesar anunciamos la muerte de nuestro amado Omar Rivas, nuestro amoroso Padre. Amigos, Familia y todos nuestros seres queridos, fue la noche del 10 de junio de 2018 que perdimos a nuestro padre en un accidente fatal. . Como se imaginarán, nuestra familia está completamente devastada y angustiada. Aunque no sabemos lo que nos espera en el futuro, sabemos con certeza que mi padre merece una despedida honorable. Por eso estamos aquí ... mi hermano y yo somos bendecidos con mucho apoyo emocional, sin embargo, también estamos pidiendo ayuda económica. Nuestro objetivo es recaudar $ 22,000.00 para cubrir los costos de su funeral y todo lo que viene con el proceso. Cualquier cosa ayudará, le agradecemos de antemano las oraciones, el amor, el apoyo y cualquier donación.

Espero que este enlace se comparta, así que para aquellos que nunca tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer a mi padre aquí hay algo sobre él.

Nuestro padre fue un hombre ejemplar y temeroso de Dios que nos enseñó a mi hermano y a mí, y a todos aquellos que tuvieron el placer de conocerlo, los mejores valores en la vida que siempre nos quedaren. Él nos enseñó la palabra de Dios creciendo, llenándonos de esperanza y amor en cada paso del camino. Dedicó su vida al Señor, siempre usando su hermosa voz para adorarlo; Bendiciendo repetidamente a su familia y congregación de la iglesia. Omar Rivas era más que solo un padre, era un amoroso hermano y esposo. Dio todo lo que tenía a todos los que lo rodeaban, un hombre desinteresado con un corazón inmenso. Le agradecemos por leer, y de nuevo cualquier ayuda. Agradecemos todas las donaciones con un corazón lleno de dolor.
