Central MO Wildfire Relief Convoy
Donation protected
Less than a week ago, our neighbors to the west were struck by unthinkable tragedy. Wildfires burned close to an accumulative two million acres; flames ripping across pastures, engulfing homes and barns, unforgiving in it's path. Fire doesn't discriminate: people were lost, attempting to save their cattle, livestock perished during and after the event.
A small group from the Central Missouri region has banded together, gathering mutual aid items and hay to deliver to our brothers and sisters in need. Courtney Collins and Courtney Thompson are the co-founders of this movement. Without them, we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are. You can find them both on Facebook if you need ANYTHING.
We can't do it alone. We need your help. Fuel cost is high. We are working class citizens trying to accomplish a noble deed. Please, if you can, donate to our cause. Help us deliver the help these folks need.
Our group is pulling out of Columbia on Friday, March 17th and headed towards Ashland, KS. We will also have another drop point in OK but won't know the exact location until Friday. We have made local contacts to help with distribution.
Any funds, after fuel is paid for, will be donated to the victims based on their needs. Funds with be withdrawn from the account and applied to pre-paid credit cards to be distributed amongst the group. We are up to 30 trucks hauling and hopeful to add more to the list!! God is good!!
All questions are welcomed! Please, check out our Facebook page Central MO Wildfire Relief Convoy.
Thank you and God bless!
