This campaign is created by my friend who kindly agreed to help me.
My name is Eugenia, and I am mostly known as an MLP-artist on DeviantArt, so that's why I decided to use one of my pictures for the cover.
After 11 years of successfully studying at school (in the end of every year I had only "A" marks for all of my subjects) I passed my final exams with some nice score (93/92/86 out of 100) and entered the university to get higher education connected with economics. First, I was doing really fine – until things took a different direction...
The first year of studying in the university was really successful and I passed exams very well, but there were some issues that I had to face. First off, I didn’t want to be an economist anymore at all. Secondly, which was even worse, I started to suffer badly under the pressure of continuingly having to achieve A level grades. This has gotten a to an extent where it affected my health and it was coming from all sides (parents, acquaintances and professors).
I was really hoping the pressure would might become less (as I adapt to it) during the second year of studying, but that wasn't the case. Quite the opposite even - it was extremely hard for me to continue studying.
I started to suffer even more and the longer it went on the harder it has gotten - especially due to my diminishing interest in economics. But I had to go on – that’s what I told myself because I was afraid to become a disappointment for my parents and for my professors... And even for myself. On top of it was that ridiculous amount of workload, which didn’t even allow me to draw anymore and maintain any sort of healthy balance.
So, it ended up with a mental breakdown. I just exploded with my nerves. I still have effects from it - neurodermatitis, unstable mood and psychological issues.
I left my university. I don’t want to think how much worse it could have become if I didn’t.
But in order to have a future ahead of me how I really want it, I am required to get a degree from a university.
Fortunately, nowadays I have a much clearer vision of my future. I want to connect my job with airplanes and airports. I discovered my passion for planes and aviation 2 years ago and it didn’t let me go – quite the opposite, it has even increased!
But the thing is that I can't pay for the higher education myself - sadly, my income from my drawings is too low.
Please, help me to get another chance to study and thus really achieve my dream.
And I know, that now that I could have the chance to study something that really suits me, I will have the drive and motivation to really bite through, even when it’s tough!
I would be very grateful, even for a small amount of money.
