Saving lives - Afghanistan Evacuations
The events in Afghanistan are unprecedented in our recent experiences. The sudden collapse of the government and the near anarchy that has ensued in the last week was not expected.
We wish to supplement official evacuations by airlifting worthy “at risk” Afghans who have collaborated with the USG, professional and other at risk women, persecuted religious minorities, Americans and other allies left behind.
In an effort to save lives and reduce has become a humanitarian nightmare for those who provided support to the US and Coalition forces on the ground in Afghanistan over the past 20 years, there are multiple private sector funded and government efforts happening simultaneously to rescue the thousands of people at risk.
Currently the private sector has several million dollars and assets pledged and activated to start moving private flights into Kabul, as well as selective security teams on the ground able to move women and children at risk to the airport.
However, these rescues come at a great cost and more fundraising is required for these missions to be successful! We need your help! Every and any contribution can make a powerful difference for these rescues!
The private sector participants in this are doing so at great risk and sacrifice as many of us have served in Afghanistan and believe there should be “no one left behind”.
We are coordinating our efforts and funding with those of CENTCOM, State Department, and the US Govt to ensure a successful and swift outcome. Any additional assistance with this is greatly welcomed!
